Feel the traditional craftsmanship that lives inside the stone walls while experiencing the wisdom and ingenuity of the stoneworkers. You can enjoy the charm of Kumamoto Castle from a different perspective than on regular tours.
While touring the worksite, professionals involved in the restoration works will provide easy-to-understand explanations of the process of restoring stone walls.
During the tour, it will be presented a special technique used to break huge stones. You can also have the experience of cutting stones under the guidance of a stoneworker.
