This gastronomy tour is offered by the first-class Michelin two-starred sushi restaurant Edomae Zushi Nikaku. After experiencing the charms of Kitakyushu’s natural features through a market tour and fishing experience, you will have a dinner course at Edomae Zushi Nikaku using the finest seafood from the local Kitakyushu nature, while learning about the history and techniques of Edomae Sushi from the owner of the two-Michelin star restaurant. Furthermore, you can learn the art of nigirizushi directly from the chef, who boasts two Michelin stars, and experience actually making the sushi.

10:15 – 11:00 Orientation at Edomae Zushi Nikaku
11:15 – 12:30 Market tour at Kitakyushu Central Wholesale Market
12:45 – 14:30 Visit the retro shopping streets, including Tangae Market, where you will find a variety of restaurants. Lunch on own.
15:00 – 16:30 Fishing experience
17:00 – 20:00 Dinner course at Edomae Zushi Nikaku, end

Clothing / belongings: Wear comfortable clothing and trainers as it can be very slippery in the market and on board. It is also particularly cold at sea, so please dress warmly.

Notes: - Lunch is not included in this tour. The tour will take you to Tanga Market and other retro shopping streets with a variety of restaurants, so you will have to have lunch on your own.
- A Japanese-speaking guide will accompany the tour.
- Foreign language interpreters (English, Korean and Chinese) are available to accompany the guide. If participants are from more than one country/region, only English interpreters will be available.
- Fishing tours will only take place in good weather conditions. The decision will be made the day before and communicated to you by e-mail.
- If the fishing experience is cancelled due to bad weather, a refund of 10,000 yen will be given. The refund will be given in cash at the Nikaku.
- If you are unannounced and more than 30 minutes late for the meeting time, please contact us as soon as possible as it will be treated as a cancellation.
- Please note that we do not offer a children's menu.
