“Yamamizuki” is a mountain inn located in Okukurogawa surrounded by the nature of the mountain. Each of the 21 guest rooms has a different taste and the Japanese atmosphere with the warmth of tatami and wood spreads out. There are 7 types of guest rooms such as a room with a bath, a room where you can enjoy the view of the river from the window, and a large room where many people can enjoy. From spring to summer, you can enjoy the lush greenery of the young leaves, and in autumn, you can enjoy the red and yellow colored leaves from the guest rooms and the open-air bath. Also, in winter, you can enjoy the snow scenery with a moist atmosphere, which is a feature of a mountain inn. You will feel the real pleasure of the inn where you can experience the nature of the mountain as it is.
All of the hot spring water of Yamamizuki flows directly from the source. You can enjoy the high quality hot spring in the gender-separated open-air bath and indoor bath. Beneath the men’s open-air bath flows the Tanohara River, the source of Chikugo River, the largest river in the Kyushu region. In the open-air bath with a sense of unity with nature, listen to the murmur of the river and relax while looking at the changing scenery of nature. At night, you can enjoy a sense of freedom as you forget about your daily life while gazing at the starry sky.
After enjoying the hot spring, we serve you dinner that is unique to the inn surrounded by the nature of the mountain. In the Japanese space of the restaurant “a floral fragment (Hanahenben)”, you can enjoy creative Kaiseki cuisine made with particular ingredients from the mountain. They have a Japanese set meal for breakfast that is gentle on the body. There is also a hall for small groups in the building, so it is safe for groups to use. In the tearoom “The Ino family.” on the premises where you can use it for a break or waiting, 20 pudding soft is popular for 1 day only. You should definitely try the sweets that can only be enjoyed here.
You can use the original tour bus that connects Kurokawa Onsen and Yamamizuki for free, so please use it for sightseeing around the area. ”
